Last Four Emerge for Federations Cup 2012

The UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar and the Ilorin Township Stadium  will take the center stage as the 2012 Fed Cup enters the semi final stage. The date is yet to be determined by the Nigeria Football Federation, even as the final has already been fixed for Sunday, August 26th at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
This year's surprise package, Prime FC of Oshogbo will try to add title favourites, Kano Pillars the their list of conquests. The Oshogbo team tutored by ex international, Ademola Adesina, made bold their ambitions when they sent Enyimba out of the competion with a 2-0 thrashing in Ibadan on Monday.
The Aba millionaires had made it to the final of the last three editions.
Pillars outscored Plateau United 3-2 in a keen contest at the Agege Stadium, Lagos on Monday to book their ticket.
Defending champions, Heartland beat Crown FC 2-0 in Port Harcourt also on Monday, to set up a potential cracker in IIorin with Lobi Stars who humbled Sharks 3-1 in Bauchi.
The best team should emerge in order to give us a stronger representation in next year's CAF Confederations Cup.
