Keshi: Poor Attitude Made Me Drop Osaze, Taiwo

Keshi

Super Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi has proferred reasons why he left out Osaze Odemwingie and Taye Taiwo from the 32 man list he just released for preparations towards AFCON 2013.
Keshi told MTNFootball.com that the duo’s poor attude particularly in February’s Nations Cup qualifier in Rwanda caused their exclusion.

Both players were minus in the game and Osaze who was pulled off at half time had to confront Keshi over his substitution.

“Osaze confronted Keshi and told him that it was an insult for him to be so substituted as a senior player,” an official informed MTNFootball.com.

“We all know that Osaze is a big mouth and his attitude under various other national team coaches has not been exemplary. Osaze has stood up to Eagles coaches, from Eguavoen to Lagerback and Siasia.

“Taiwo also threw caution to the wind after a very poor game in Kigali with a tirade aimed at the coaches and the entire team.”

The ‘big boss’ would rather preferr to take full charge of his dressing room, though he is being reported to have forgiven both players, inspite of the recent surge of media campaign by left – back Taiwo.
