Beckham Ends His MLS Career On A Winning Note as LA Glaxy Beat Houston Dynamo to Retain the Championship

Beckham bowing out of the game that brought him fame and fortune

David Beckham’s six-year adventure at MLS side, LA Galaxy, ended on a high as he helped his team retain the MLS Cup before a thirty thousand capacity crowd last Saturday.

LA Galaxy beat Houston Dynamo 3-1 in the encounter.

It was a memorable moment as the former England captain  was pulled out just before the final whistle, trailed by resounding and well deserved standing ovation.

“… being here for six years, being part of this team, being part of a team that's kept the majority of our players over the last six years, it was always going to be an emotional day," he told a post match press conference.

Becks is yet to open up on what his next move will be as he intends to spend more time with his kids for now.

So long, for those magical free kicks.
